I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact! Focusing on five little things that made me happy is my way of recapping the week and a reminder to stay grateful.
1 – Baby Avocado. We got to say hi to baby girl again yesterday (she’s the size of an avocado!) and she did quite a few backflips while we watched.
2 – Wired. The TV console we commissioned from Rooster Tails arrived yesterday – love it! We’re still setting up all the components but I’m loving the new setup – especially now that all the wires are hidden. All of a sudden the living room feels a lot more finished.
3 – Civil War. We caught the premiere last night and it was fun to kick off the summer movie season with the Avengers.
4 – Dallas. On the last night of the Frightmare con, we had one night to escape the airport hotel and explore Dallas. My co-worker and I walked around the Deep Ellum neighborhood followed by a great dinner at Bolsa – and even indulged in dessert.
5 – Home Again. The best part about the conference was coming home, obviously. The cats seemed happy to see me too 🙂
