Read Every Day: Week 9

I’m still tracking my daily reading, so here’s another update!

You can find these pics in my Instagram Stories too (although they disappear after 24 hours), but on the blog I’m also adding my daily thoughts on what I’m reading.

@LadyKatieStitchery

Here’s a look at what I read in Week 9 of 2018!

Week 9

Day 56: We Are Never Meeting in Real Life, by Samantha Irby

So funny, but so much heart too (beneath the crass humor).

Day 57: We Are Never Meeting in Real Life, by Samantha Irby

Down the Samantha Irby rabbit hole…it looks like she hasn’t updated her blog, Bitches Gotta Eat, recently, but her Twitter is hilarious & her Instagram is full of great books!

Day 58: We Are Never Meeting in Real Life, by Samantha Irby

This is the problem with reading library books… at the end of the month I’ve returned most of them so I don’t have a pretty stack to photograph. So this is just a pic of my most recently finished and my current read… both so good, but completely different.

Day 59: We Are Never Meeting in Real Life, by Samantha Irby

Only five minutes to read today, but that’s just another reason I love essay collections.

Day 60: Finish We Are Never Meeting in Real Life, by Samantha Irby

Stayed up late to finish this, and it was so worth it. At times heart-wrenching and crass, but always hilarious.

Day 61: Start The Hours, by Michael Cunningham

This is one of those books I’ve always meant to read, and then I saw a preview for the movie  (does anyone else scroll through Netflix watching a million trailers and then pick a movie that you’ve already seen before?? It’s a problem.) and decided to read the book first!

Day 62: The Hours, by Michael Cunningham

I can tell I’m going to like this one, but also that it’s going to be depressing, so I might need to pick up a lighter book too.

What are you reading in 2018?
