High Five for Friday

Every week I share Five highlights, big and small, as a reminder to stay grateful.

Happy Friday!

1 – Turtles All the Way Down. It was so much fun to see John Green (& his brother Hank) on the book tour for his recent release. It was the first time we that a non-family member put Amelia to bed while we were out, a big deal!

2 – Southern Festival of Books. One of my favorite Nashville traditions; the first visit of many years to come for Amelia!

3 – Nursery. Over the weekends, we moved Amelia’s crib into her nursery. Despite my dread of going through sleep training again, it wasn’t so bad! She was sleeping through the night much quicker this time around, which has meant more sleep for me too!

4 – Play Dates. I feel like I’m finally starting to meet some new mom friends in the area and it’s fun to see the babies interact, but even better to connect with other adults again.

5 – Grandparents. Amelia claps, we all clap. Amelia waves her hands in the air, we all wave our hands in the air! Three cheers for another weekend visit with my parents.
