Another weekly update on my current Works in Progress!
Sandy Orton Summer Sampler
I picked this one back up and finally finished the first section! I’m saving the backstitching for the very end, after all the cross stitching is done (probably in a few YEARS), so you can see “Summer Time” but it will be a while before I add “and the living is easy.” I am really having fun working on this one!

Paint Chip Challenge Mini Quilt
I want to try out reverse applique, and a mini quilt seems like a good place to start! I’ve gathered all my fabrics for the Paint Chip Challenge (click here to see the fabric pull), and I’ve been watching Youtube tutorials and Anna Maria Horner’s Folk Flower block class on Creativebug (totally worth signing up for the free trial!). I got the prep work done so I can get started on it at this Friday’s Open Sew with the guild gals.
