Another weekly update on my current Works in Progress!
QAYG Table Topper
I don’t have much to show this week since we had family visiting over the weekend, but I’m having a Sew Day with my friend Emily today and my guild is doing another Friday Night Sew this week, so I should have more to share next week.
I’ve been in a real rut this year when it comes to quilting. Other than a few guild projects, I haven’t finished a single thing. The only time I feel like starting a new project is when I have a million other things I should be doing instead… which is why I started a table topper the day before my parents came to town. Why? Idk… and obviously I didn’t have time to finish it, but at least I have something to work on during our Sew Day today. I’m using a pattern from Jera Brandvig’s (of Quilting in the Rain) book Quilt As You Go Made Modern, and I plan to make two toppers for our dining room table and kitchen island.
I want to start a new quilt to hang in our front hallway, but I also have a few gift quilts I need to make and a few WIPs I should finish… what else is new? My quilt guild’s annual Shop Hop is coming up in a couple weeks, so I’m trying to get a game plan in mind to spend wisely and hopefully get some motivation!
…
And that’s about it!
