Time for a Monday morning book review!

In case you haven’t noticed all the red and pink candy everywhere, Valentine’s Day is around the corner. I love romance as much as the next girl, but the older I get the more I love my gal pals even more. Besties is a celebration of friendship, the perfect Galentine’s Day gift. The colorful illustrations and handwritten lettering tell the history of a very specific friendship, yet the inside jokes and mementos are universal to best friends everywhere. After all, it’s the small details that make up a friendship, not just the highs and lows but all those in-between moments.
One of my BFFs and I have a tradition of sending books just like this one back and forth to each other. Usually we go for the fill-in-the-blank sort (like these) so I couldn’t help but add some of my own doodles before putting this one in the mail and sending it off to her.
