Happy Friday!
As usual, I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact. Focusing on five little things that made me happy is my way of recapping the week and a reminder to stay grateful.
1 – Santa! A met Santa and it was adorable! Our neighborhood organized the setup right down the block, so it was super convenient. This pic was taken before the tears started, and I just love her expression (and her red jammies!).
2 – Solo Adventures. Not only did I get a couple hours of uninterrupted sewing time with my guild, I also ran some solo errands over the weekend. Now that I’m (finally) cleared for driving and lifting, I’m quite the jetsetter these days 🙂
3 – Champ. We went to two doctor appointments this week – one for baby and one for me – and A handled it like a champ. Sam keeps saying, “The worst that can happen is she’ll cry” and it’s true… so we’re slowly venturing out more often.
4 – Small Victory. We’ve always had small apartments and small trees for Christmas, but this year we took the plunge and bought a 7-footer. My ornament collection didn’t quite fill it up and I was thinking of buying more, but then I found this tin of leftover ornaments I made a few years ago. Perfect timing! (Tutorial for Wonky Flying Geese Trees here!) One of these years we’ll attempt a real tree.
5 – Visitors! I’m so excited that Heather and Drew are visiting for the weekend to meet Amelia. I can’t wait to catch up and hang out – it’s a Christmas tradition!
Way to go little A!!!!
