I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact! Focusing on five little things that made me happy is my way of recapping the week and a reminder to stay grateful.
1 – Hospital Tour. This week our Lamaze class took a tour of the hospital where I’ll deliver, and getting the lay of the land was surprisingly reassuring. Five classess down, two to go! (Our group voted for Newborn Care over Breastfeeding for the next session because a few couples are worried their babies might arrive before they make it to the end of the course!)
2 – Costume Club SAL. Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday, but with a baby coming right around that time of year, I wanted to do something to get in the spirit. The newest SAL from the Frosted Pumpkins came just at the right time – the first clue is super cute and reminds me that Fall is on the horizon!
3 – Ch-ch-changes. Maybe this isn’t quite a “highlight,” but there have been lots of changes at work lately, with new ownership, co-workers coming and going, and preparing for my maternity leave. This week especially has been bittersweet, but it’s all for the best.
Bonus: A college friend of mine monograms all sorts of things and I won this cat decal in a Facebook contest (see her shop here!). Hubby wasn’t using this 30 oz. Yeti from his office, so now I’ve got the cutest water bottle around 🙂
4 – Truly Madly Guilty. Specifically the audiobook! Liane Moriarty is one of my favorite contemporary authors, especially because she’s Australian and the narrators of her audiobooks are always so delightful. I’m about halfway through her latest release and so far, so good.
5 – Blond. Frank Ocean’s new album has been on repeat this week everywhere I go.
Love this! Love your Yeti!
