The City Farmhouse holiday pop up show was last weekend in downtown Franklin… and I couldn’t resist the holiday spirit! Hubby was in Nashville for a work convention, which was the perfect excuse to wander through the booths a lot longer than I can normally get away with, and talk myself into all sorts of impulse buys. Luckily there were lots of great deals, and I found some great gifts (and a couple things for myself…). Sheryl Crow was the big celebrity, but I steered clear of the times she was there to avoid the crowds. (By the time I left around 11 AM, there was NO parking left and multiple cars of people were asking to follow me to my spot. I’d rather be an early bird any day, ha!)
It’s hard to believe Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK… and then it’s officially Christmastime! I’m actually excited to enjoy the season without all the trimmings – whether the house is finished or not, I’ll be packing or unpacking and probably won’t deck the halls. My little purchases this year will be a fun surprise next year when I’ve forgotten all about them and finally get to enjoy the decorations again.
